Short version: we collect as little as possible and never publish anything that identifies you.
Bills. Amount, city, procedure, year and optional breed are stored. Clinic names and notes are never published. Only medians from three or more bills appear on the site.
Email. Used only for the alerts you asked for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
Insurer links. When you click through to an insurer we send you via a /go/ link on this site and count the click: which insurer, which page you came from, the country and the time. We do not store your IP address or browser details with it.
Analytics. We count page views and button clicks without cookies that track you across sites. Insurer links may carry a referral code.
Hosting. Server logs keep IP addresses briefly for abuse prevention.
